　　本剧讲述了日本屈指可数的大型医院“天堂纪念医院”的董事长儿子天堂海斗，因与父亲关系不和，没有成为医生，而是在出版社作为周刊杂志的记者。在求婚之前，他听说父亲被卷入了事件，于是就前往了天堂纪念医院。以此为契机，知道了父亲的本意的海斗，为了取回父亲构筑的重要之物，也为了保护所爱之人，决心与大型医院的权力作斗争…

三年以来，我们见证着Betty的成长：她从一个什么都 不懂的小助理，成长为Mode的编辑，她从令Daniel烦厌的小 卒，成长为Danile最得力的助手和最贴心的朋友，她从一个自卑的小女孩，成长为有主见的职业女性，坚韧，也终于迎来了出头天，在上一季中， Betty终于如愿以偿得到了自己梦寐以求的编辑工作，但是 令她意想不到的是，前男友Matt居然成为了她的新上司。

贝蒂从环游美国的公路旅行中回来，发现在她离开后发生了很多变化，威廉敏娜是《时尚》杂志的主任工程师，丹尼尔已经被调到米德出版公司的男性杂志《玩家》，与此同时，贝蒂列出了一系列要做的事情，其中一点就是要拥有自己的公寓。
