　　因为偷税事件，曾经处于精英组的百合根友久（冈田将生 饰）被踢到早先成立的科学搜查班（ST）担任指挥官，通过之前的合作，虽然百合根始终未能完全接受青山翔（志田未来 饰）、结城翠（芦名星 饰）、黑崎勇治（漥田正孝 饰）、山吹才藏（三宅弘城 饰）以及ST实际领导者赤城左门（藤原龙也 饰）这群怪人的行径，却也为他们自身那极度专业和见斥于周遭的气息所感染。百合根一面盼望早日回到搜查一课，一面又打算多守护ST的各位一段时间。随着作为后盾的三枝警官（渡部笃郎 饰）的离开和ST新任监查松户紫织（濑户朝香 饰）的到来，ST面临生死存亡的危机。赤门渐渐走出家门，百合根则成为遏止这头怪物不可或缺的重要存在……

翻拍自知名法国探案剧 Astrid et Raphaëlle，2025年1月8日上线Channel4。设定于英国古城约克，人物也清一色更为英文名：拥有自闭症的档案管理员Patience Evans由Ella Maisy Purvis饰演；发现Patience奇才的探长Bea Metcalf由Laura Fraser饰演。本剧中所有神经多样性角色都由神经多样性演员出演，包括主角Patience。
