　　志淙与Ｏ记年轻干探林永泰（陈锦鸿 饰）因行事风格各异而结怨。真是不是冤家不聚头，志淙调入Ｏ记后却无独有偶跟永泰编在了一组。专断独行的志淙与作风保守凡事照章行事的永泰，一开始两人就火光四溅，相互埋怨。但经过一番相处，两人都十分欣赏对方的执着和正义，于是成为了O记里面扑灭罪案的一对最佳拍档。

　　权饰)伏击，幸得武功高强的展昭(伍卫国饰)相救。二人英雄惜英雄，昭遂被皇
　　上封为「御猫」，与包公共同侦察办案。
　　槐因夺取贡品不成，乃对包与昭怀恨在心。原来贡品中暗藏有武功秘笈，
　　而缨则是槐未入宫前所生之女儿。而槐实操纵邪教，故其女缨亦为邪教中人。
　　堂则因劫贡品未得以及嫉妒展昭之被封为「御猫」，遂处处找昭麻烦，两
　　人数度交手，却始终不分胜负，两人暗自佩服对方，无奈兵贼难以共存，两人
　　始终互视为敌人。
　　缨虽受命数度欲杀昭，但皆为其为人侠义所感动，缨乃日渐爱上昭，唯昭
　　仍以平常心待缨。同时，昭已调查出邪教与槐有关。乃大破邪教总舵，昭发现
　　缨真实身份，大感失望。而缨此时已被教主下毒控制，要胁其一定要取昭之人
　　头。缨在矛盾与剧毒煎熬下，只好自我放逐。
　　槐因失去爱女对包与昭更加痛恨，他原本欲联合堂共同对付昭，却被堂所
　　傲拒，槐一怒之下，乃煽动太后要包与昭剿水月宫。
　　堂不敌逃走，昭捉住堂近身宫女范缇(邓萃雯饰)欲逼问堂之下落，未料缇
　　却自尽，幸得昭搭救，昭佩服其忠贞之操守。
　　昭对缇多方照料，并进而了解、仰慕缇，无奈缇却锺情堂，堂虽对缇有爱
　　意，但却自觉宾主有别，未能接受缇。
　　昭巧遇缨，替缨除去剧毒，令缨误会昭终於对其有爱意。後缨得知昭一心
　　只爱缇，她仍无怨无悔守在昭之身边；甚至更为了收集槐之罪行而假意回到其
　　父身边，终被槐发现，槐为了自己的私利，竟不惜杀死亲生女儿。
　　堂与昭得知此事，皆不齿槐所为，於是两人联手与槐对抗，一场激烈的争
　　斗正开始，而堂与昭是否能共同合作打击恶人呢？
